Comfort Care’s MNsure program is dedicated to helping Minnesotans access affordable health insurance through the MNsure marketplace.
Our MNsure Certified Navigators are among the most experienced in the state, committed to helping individuals overcome barriers to healthcare access. We provide education on coverage options and assist with the MNsure application process.
Our certified navigators simplify the often complicated application process, offering assistance over the phone or in person to all Minnesotans, regardless of their geographic location.
1. Residency
You must be a resident of Minnesota.
2. Eligibility
You should be eligible for coverage under one of the following categories:
- Individuals and families
- Pregnant individuals
- People with disabilities
- Children and young adults under age 26
- Individuals eligible for Medical Assistance (MA) or MinnesotaCare
3. Income
Your household income must fall within the eligibility range for the plan you are applying for, which typically ranges from 138% to 400% of the federal poverty level (FPL). Specific eligibility guidelines may vary by program.
4. Social Security Number
You must provide a Social Security number for all individuals applying for coverage. If you do not have a Social Security number, you may need to provide other identification.
5. Citizenship
Applicants must be U.S. citizens or meet specific immigration requirements. Documentation may be required to verify citizenship or immigration status.
6. Open Enrollment Period
Enrollment is typically open during designated periods, such as the annual open enrollment period or special enrollment periods triggered by qualifying life events (e.g., marriage, birth of a child, loss of other coverage).
7. Application Process:
You must complete the MNsure application process, which may include providing personal information, financial details, and selecting a health insurance plan.
